The gap between rich and poor is increasing. This rather unfortunate trend continues alike. A recent study by the British charity Oxfam according to the 62 richest people in the world just as much as the poorer half of the world population have. A year ago, there were still 80 persons. For the current year 2016, it was predicted that the wealthiest percent of the world’s population, making 70 million people, will have more than 99 percent of the rest of the world population (nearly seven billion people). This threshold could be achieved but a year rather the current report.

The impressive figures with regard to the assets of the very rich and concentrated distribution of worldwide profits money has recently devoted to the World Economic Forum in Davos in the report “an economy for the 1%” Oxfam. In the past five years, the entire assets of the poorer half of the world population to 41 per cent, so nearly a trillion dollars and that reduced even though the world’s population by 400 million people has grown. On the other hand increased the fortunes of the 62 super rich to more than half a trillion dollars.
